In search of blessings

When the Spirit of God descends on a person it is to make him an instrument to benefit others.
The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners… Isaiah 61:1 (HCSB)
Those who seek the Spirit of God solely for personal ends deceive themselves.
By the way, this is the main reason why more people have not yet been sealed with the Holy Spirit.
On the other hand, the same Spirit enriches those who have faith to use His resources to benefit the poor and oppressed — whether through evangelizing or social outreach.
The fact is: the LORD God is the wellspring of all that is good. His desires to bless everyone — believers and unbelievers.
Since unbelievers are blocked from receiving, He wants to use believers to reach out to those who do not yet believe.
The Lord is good to everyone; His compassion rests on all He has made. Psalm 145.9 (HCSB)
But the LORD hates greed so much that He equates it with the sin of prostitution, theft and murder.
Gold, diamonds and money are not evil, but our attachment to them, our uncontrollable desire and love for them constitute reliance, passion, and idolatry. This is highly offensive to the LORD.
The Lord Jesus warned:
Watch out and be on guard against all greed because one’s life is not in the abundance of his possessions.  Luke 12:15 (HCSB)

DEALING WITH VERY RUDE PEOPLE

Photo: DEALING WITH VERY RUDE PEOPLE

"Quite often, people are rude without knowing they are being rude.
They are what workplace shanks call overly focused.

They'll jump all over your conversation, interrupt, finish off your sentences and monopolise the discussion.
Ever thought about why they do it?

Quite often rudeness has its roots in shyness and a feeling of inadequacy.
The rude who jumps into your conversation probably doesn't look very shy, but inside them there is a little voice that says 'if I don't jump in, I'll never get my point across.'
Seeing the rude person in that context makes them more a person to feel sorry for than to get excited about.

The professional rude person will monopolise a conversation and make it impossible for anyone else to get a word in edgeways.

(Text from the book Dealing with difficult people)

"A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger."
(Proverbs 15:1)

God bless you.

Alexander's three wishes

On his deathbed, Alexander "The Great" summoned his generals and told them his 3 ultimate wishes:
1. The best doctors should carry his coffin;
2. The wealth he accumulated (money, gold, precious stones) should be scattered along the procession to the cemetery;
3. His hands should be let loose, hanging outside the coffin for all to see.
One of his generals, who was surprised by these unusual requests asked Alexander to explain.
Alexander said:
1. I want the best doctors to carry my coffin to demonstrate that they have NO power to heal;
2. I want the road to be covered with my treasures so that everybody sees that material wealth acquired on earth, stays on earth;
3. I want my hands to swing in the wind, so people can understand that we come to this world empty handed and we leave this world empty handed.

THE MANIPULATOR - DO YOU KNOW ONE?

"They work in silence to build a wall of obligations that we should have towards them. This wall ends up making you feel pressurized and forced to continue acting this way for them, although you wonder, at the back of your mind, how did it all come to this point.

A person with this type of personality acts as if he or she were really nice with others, but in fact they are mixing consideration with the need to be important to you.
When they do so, they do things for others that no one asked or wanted to be done, but this way, they ensure a link with the "favoured." Doing this "favour " to you, they expect you to give them something in return .

The Assistant who doesn’t want to be the cause of any problem!

Surely you already know that famous phrase : ” I don’t want to be the cause of any problems!”
This saying is very common among the Assistants.
And who never uttered such words or thought so?

If someone sees someone else commit an error they don’t have the courage to speak because they think it might cause problems. She rarely takes the initiative, and never exposes her opinion. All because this infamous thought has been rooted in her mind.
She might even see one of her colleagues in war hold a responsibility and need assistance , but she won’t get involved, why? Because she doesn’t want to be the cause of any problems!

The Secret of change

There is only one way for you to overcome a big problem or achieve a great dream:
Go with more strength against the problem than the resistance that it comes against you.
Your problem or your dream always shows resistance.

1. Visual Resistance: Treat, it is too big, (e.g.: Goliath)
2. Mental Resistance: doubts and fears.
3. Real Resistance: It is really impossible humanly speaking, (e.g. cancer, HIV).
4. Resistance from negative people.
5. Resistance from the devil, who doesn’t want you to overcome.

Finally, there will always be RESISTANCE between YOU and what you want to ACHIEVE. If there were not, you would have already overcome.
Therefore, the only way for you to overcome your problems is to go against its resistance with more strength than it comes against you.
If you make an easy effort, forget about.
If you make an effort more or less, you forget it.
If you put all your strength to conquer something, but without God, you can achieve very little.
If you want to conquer the impossible, you will only get it if, you add all your strength + the Power of God.

What happens after your SURRENDER?

Now that you’ve given your life to the Lord Jesus, I’d like you to understand the importance of taking these 5 steps to becoming independent of everything, and completely dependent on God
1st GET RID OF THE EXTRA WEIGHT
Get rid of all the negative burdens you may have, the old life, burying all that has accused you, through the Baptism in Waters, which, originally means “burial”. The Lord Jesus promised that “Whoever believed in Him as Lord of their life and was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, would be Saved, and those who did not believe, and were not baptised would not be saved.” This you will do in the closest UCKG to you, free of charge. Simply bring a change of clothes, a towel and a repentant heart.

Why should we be baptised…

…with the Holy Spirit?

Baptism with the Holy Spirit is not a with the Holy Spirit has caused the denominational doctrine or option. It message of the Gospel to be level with is a need, whose aim is to perpetuate the the messages of some false gods that Christian faith. people worship.
As witness to the Lord Jesus and a minister of God, I can state, without a shadow of a doubt, that it is impossible to follow the Lord Jesus without being baptised with the Holy Spirit. In other words, it is impossible to be a Christian without being sealed by the Holy Spirit.
We have seen many ‘Christians’ striving to remain faithful to their calling, to their faith and to the Lord Jesus.

What is the Fast of Daniel?

What is the Fast of Daniel?

I will explain what is the Fast of Daniel, how it works, why it matters, what good it'll do, who was Daniel , Why we call this fast " Fast of Daniel " and what you should do during the 21 days of fasting . So here we go.

Let's first understand what is the Fast of Daniel. Consider these questions:

How many TV channels you have access to? How many radio stations you have the possibility to hear? How many emails you receive in your inbox daily, weekly?

How many web pages are available for you to access on the internet? How many songs are on your phone or mp3 player? How many news sources you have access to?

7 Steps to the Baptism with the Holy Spirit

7 Steps to the Baptism with the Holy Spirit

To achieve a goal, reach a destination, realize a dream or to be baptised with the Holy Spirit, you must follow a path. So I’ve put together some steps which, I believe, are crucial for you to receive Him in your life.

The Credit balance of life.

Imagine that you have a current account with a balance of $86,400.00 every morning. But you are not allowed to save the balance for the next day. Every night, your balance resets to $0.00 even though you didn’t actually spend all the money you had in the morning throughout the day. What would you do? You’d spend every single penny, of course! In reality, we are all clients of this bank.
It is called “TIME” and every morning, each one of us is credited with 86,400 seconds. Every night the balance is deducted as loss. This balance cannot be saved up for the next day. Every morning your account is reset, and every night the leftovers of the day disappear. You need to spend your daily credit balance throughout the day. So invest in what is best – in your health, happiness, or success! The clock is ticking. Make the most of your daily life.

The Mind

The mind is a battlefield where the devil wants our faith to wither and die. The devil tries to keep his evidence foremost in your thoughts: negative circumstances and what your senses tell you. When you live by faith, your life is not based on what you feel or see but in God’s evidence contained in His unchanging Word: the Bible.

We must choose to feed the truths of the Bible into our thinking to keep our faith strong. God wants our faith to grow stronger and His Word to be fulfilled in our lives; but that is a reward given only to those who trust in Him.

THE CULTURE OF THE MINORITY

“I’m not the boss, I just work here.”
“No I didn’t do it, nobody said anything. Was I supposed to?”
“If I do more, they’re just going to give me more work.”

The trend of doing as little as possible is the attitude taken by most; it’s when you only do what you’re told. It’s a quest to apply the smallest amount of effort, doing the bare minimum, in order to avoid trouble.

This is a poor person’s mentality, not exactly a person who lacks money but a person who lacks vision.

If you want to be big, a leader, trusted with significant responsibilities, learn to go beyond the minimum. The fact that most people do as little as possible gives you a great chance to stand out.

Imagine what would happen if you begin to impress your boss, your workers, your clients, your husband or your wife, parents or friends?

Imagine God’s reaction if you do more than what was expected?

Imagine if you surprise yourself?

Imagine if you start a new trend of doing the maximum.

With The Strength of the Lord You Can Overcome All Battles!

“They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright” Psalm 20:8
David’s sword may have been worn, but at least it was not rusty.
When we decide to follow Jesus there is one thing that is for certain, battles will arise.
Therefore we must have the right weapons to get us through hard times.

Assistants Meeting with Bishop Renato Cardoso -RSA

Watch, comment and Share! God bless you!

Evil which enters through your eyes

Human-beings have a gift for finding faults in others. Although, it may be more of a disease than a gift. There are even those who find fault in God, like the men who found fault in Jesus when he walked the earth. He warned us about the dangers of this disease:

But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. Matthew 6:23
I may not know if you have ‘evil eyes’ towards me. Yet, your evil eyes won’t make a difference in my life. They will affect you. How is that so?
When we have evil eyes towards someone, we start to look for their flaws. The command we send to our brain is: “This person is bad. I’m going to find evidence to prove this.” Then we start to see everything in a distorted way:
  • The person arrived late? How lazy. The person is early? They’re just showing off for the boss.
  • She’s pretty? She’s so full of herself. She’s ugly? She deserves it.
  • He has money? What a thief. He’s broke? What a loser.
  • She works hard? What a brownnoser. She’s a bad employee? How selfish.
  • He stands out amongst the rest? What a show off.  He makes no difference? What a waste of space.

Who is really in charge of your heart?

“having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” Col. 2:15
Did you know that someone dies from heart trouble every seven minutes? You don’t have to have a weak and diseased heart to suffer from heart trouble. Parents suffer troubled hearts when their babies get behind the wheel of a car for the first time. Young people suffer troubled hearts when they think of having to go to a new school.

The Five Stages

Everyone who really wants to have their life based on the principles of faith must ensure that he/she passes through these five stages which are: Deliverance, Repentance, Conversion, Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Being born of God.

1      1 Deliverance- This is the first and one of the more important steps because nobody would build a house without building a strong foundation first, basically when a person comes to church he needs to fight (exercise his faith without limitations) to be free from sickness, addiction, bad habits, conquering miracles, in other words, having an experience with the power of God through faith.  Otherwise this person will always be influenced by demons; that’s why the person must be completely free.

Independence or Death

“The revolted say: ‘It’s up to me!’. The complacent say: ‘I hope God doesn’t forget me!’”
There is a cry, yet to be heard, within every truly revolted person! “What do you mean? Are there counterfeits?”. Yes, those who talk much but do little … those who instigate others, but are the last ones to take the first step. Those who demonstrate displeasure or anger, but when the time comes to act, they cower behind endless excuses.

Pride

There are people that have been gifted with an exceptional intelligence, a high I.Q level and many talents. But, despite all this qualities, they are not overcomers. A true overcomer is a person of actions, not just aptitudes.
Song Lyrics
Dying Star You’ve got your best man on the front side
You always show your best side And evil’s always on the other side
You say this is your strategy But son I hope you take it from me
You look just like your enemy You’re full of pride We better trash
our idols if we want to be In the army of the Lord And the greatest idol is you and me,
We better get on the threshing floor When will we learn that God’s strategy
Is giving glory to the Lord? We better trash our idols if we want to be
In the army of the Lord Star how beautiful you shine You shine more
beautiful than mine You shine from sea to shining sea World-wide is
your strategy But shinning star I hope you see If the whole wide
world is staring straight at you They can’t see me

The Angel and the Altar

The devil uses your emotions to stop you from reaching your goals. There are times when you know you are capable of doing what you never expected to do but you allow the evil voices and your emotions to hold you back. You can defeat any evil stronghold by choosing to sacrifice your own will and allow God to lead you to the life He has chosen for you.
When you sacrifice your own will, your desires and choosing to let go what is most precious to you, there is a struggle between you and God and eventually, there is nothing to lose because greater is He who will transform you into a new person and give you a new name.

TWO STORIES, ONE CONFLICT

All of us have at least two stories inside of us. One has a happy ending, the other has a horrible ending. Good and evil. Faith and doubt. Love and loneliness. Health and sickness. Always wishing for one and fearing the other.

There once lived a man named Jacob who lived in this conflict almost all his life. From his mother’s womb he received a promise from God guaranteeing a blessed future, where he would be the leader of his tribe in the place of his father Isaac. However, as the years went by, the truth started to distance itself from the promise.

The clock of God works correctly, it doesn’t delay or advance

Among the Jews in Jesus’ time, there was a belief that when a person dies, the soul leaves the body only after the third day. So then after the fourth day, according to their belief, only the Messiah could raise the dead.

Interesting to note that purposely, the Lord Jesus took four days to go to Lazarus. And for that reason, He received a slight criticism from the dead’ sister:
"If You were here, my brother had not died" (John 11).
In Martha’s view, God has been delayed.

"You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations which you shall dispossess served their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green

THOSE WHO HONOUR ME...

What kind of employee demands a salary without first doing his job?

What kind of farmer demands a plentiful harvest without first sowing seeds?
What kind of professional demands knowledge of a subject from himself without first having studied?

Everything in life follows the law of cause and effect, action and reaction, giving and receiving...

The law of cause and effect is fair;

It begins at the Throne of the Almighty and spreads throughout the earth.

He gave the life of His only Son, so that He could demand ours.

OVERCOMING EVIL THOUGHTS

Salvation is not easy.

To conserve our salvation we need to be aware that we were saved, we are saved and we will be saved if remain faithful until the end. To do so, we must overcome evil thoughts.
When the Lord
Jesus speaks of the small gate and narrow road, we have no real idea of how difficult Salvation is. Matthew 7:14

It is only before the temptations, deserts, and challenges that we can understand the weight of His words.
“And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

THE GREAT VISION

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12.1-6

NOBODY USES SHOES

Perhaps you’ve heard of the story of the shoe vendor who travelled to India on business in order to explore the new market. Arriving there, the vendor contacted his company: “Schedule my trip back. There’s not much to do here. No one uses shoes in India.”

The company brought the vendor back and sent another to the same place. Immediately, he started to sell and make orders and more orders for the company to send thousands of pairs of shoes. Excitedly, he contacted the company: “Everybody needs shoes here!”

PROVERBS

On a cold morning, a short vendor with greyish hair who was not known by anyone visited a small town. He would shout loudly: “Proverbs! Proverbs! Proverbs! New and used! Just a coin each! Who wants Proverbs???”

“Of what use are these Proverbs?” a lady asked, “Eh! Eh!” replied the man, “Certainly these proverbs cannot produce a warm jersey for you in this cold morning mam, however it will enrich your thinking. Are you not aware that in every Proverb there is kilogram of good sense?”

“That’s a good one!” another man added. “So with a single coin, what Proverb can you sell to me?” the vendor gazed upon the man for quite a while and eventually sold him the following Proverb:

ATTACKING THE PROBLEM

A wise man and a guardian had both been entrusted with the daily operation of a temple. One day the guardian died and needed to be replaced. So the wise man called a meeting of all his best disciples with the aim of choosing the guardian’s replacement.

“I will present you with a problem,” the wise man said, “and the first to solve it will be the new temple guardian.”
After his quick introduction, he placed a small table in the center of the room with an valuable porcelain vase containing an exquisite arrangement of roses.
“This is the problem,” said the wise man.

The disciples were confused at what they saw: beautiful paintings on the rare porcelain and an elegant flower arrangement. What did it mean? What was the enigma? What to do then?

After several minutes one of the disciples got up, looked at the wiseman and the disciples circled around him. He then boldly walked over to the vase and threw it on the ground, shattering the valuable work of art.

“You are the new guardian!” the wise man said to the student.

When he had returned to his place, he explained: “I was very clear. I had told you that I was going to set a problem before you, and that’s exactly what I did.
You were looking for an obviously negative thing, but it doesn’t matter how beautiful or fascinating a problem is, it has to be eliminated.
A problem is a problem, period. It can be a rare porcelain vase, a love that is no longer healthy, a path that needs to be abandoned… There is only one way to proceed with a problem, attack it head-on and refuse to be mislead with its external beauty.

The same happens to each one of us. The only way to see results is to confront our challenges with all our strength.

God bless you.

One Soul

A mathematician said that if a person could bring one soul during the year to the church, and if these two during the second year would bring each a soul, and if these four, during the third year, would bring each one, one more soul to the church: If you continue like this in the same order, for 32 years all souls in the world would be saved.

(...) And he who wins souls is wise

Self - righteousness

He was not lacking righteousness.
Much less integrity of character.
His faith was enviable; he feared God and avoided evil.

Then what was his problem?
Self-righteousness.

Because his behavior was impeccable, upright, God-fearing and he avoided evil. Apparently, Job was perfect.
God exalted him in front of the devil, when He said: "...there is none like him on earth..." Job 1.8
Nevertheless, there was something excruciating and fundamental about him that subtracted from who he was: he only knew the Lord God from what he heard from others. Job 42.5
That was his big problem – which is also most people’s problem.
They are honest, upright, keep away from sin, have a ruled life, do not hurt anyone, but unfortunately, because of this self-justification, they are not delivered.
Everything leads us to believe that a deceiving spirit convinces them of their "purity and holiness”.

HOW FAST WILL YOU GET UP?

The fact that you’re going to fall at some point in your life is practically guaranteed. It seems to be something that mankind specializes in. Slipping up at work, in a relationship, your spiritual life, your finances, in decisions, business, friendships, opinions, your own expectations… the rocks along the way are by no means in shortage.

But slipping or tripping is not the main problem. The biggest mistake many make is to fall and stay down rolling around in their self-pity. Feeling sorry for oneself, ready to blame anything and anyone for the fall, pity-parties and the victim spirit.

God approves fear!

There are some things written in Scripture that seem strange, others don’t make much sense, but they all lead us to very serious reflections concerning our spirituality.
An example of this is the ‘Subject of Fear'.
How can He tell us, 366 times, "do not fear nothing or anybody," and at the end of the Bible, when He speaks about the salvation of the soul, He approves fear?
Is He contradicting Himself?
Is God confused?

YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS

It has never been so easy to criticize, complain, and point fingers, as it is today. The internet guarantees open leeway for trolls and other notorious critics. But of course that behavior as a whole is nothing new. People were always like that. The only thing is that before they didn’t have the megaphone, which is the Internet today, to announce their thoughts.

Here’s a proposition, a principle that you will probably find much easier to live by: the “you’re responsible for this” principle. It works like this:

Every time you want to complain about a situation or about someone, you will be responsible to fix it. If you don’t want to be responsible in doing anything to fix it, then shut your mouth.

QUIZ: How to know if you're proud

One of the most difficult things for a proud person to do is to recognize that they’re proud. So, we are here to help. It’s a very simple test. Read each number in the column to the left and what corresponds on the right. For example, instead of reading one whole column and then moving on to the other, read number 1 and then read number 1 on the Humble column. Then continue on and on.

In total sincerity, evaluate which of the two describes you best and give a point to that answer. In the end, add up the number of points in each column, then the column with the largest number of points will show you which side you lean towards.

GOD RESPECTS YOUR CHOICE

Bishop, unfortunately my story is very similar to Lucy's. I went through the same process she did.

At the age of 19, my biggest dream was to have the opportunity to serve God, and I was pretty close to being bless
ed. But, I dropped everything for a man. I even handed him my innocence, thinking that he would stay with me. But, the day I finally gave him what he wanted, while we were still at the hotel, after he finished, he just said: "Finally, I got what I wanted so badly”. His words hit me like a bomb. I was looking at the devil himself talking to me.

I left devastated, wanting to die - not because of him, but because I had just thrown everything down the drain. The Holy Spirit had warned me about what was coming.

21- DAY FAST OF DANIEL

"Now on the twenty-fourty day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, in sackcloth, and with dust on their heads.
Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.
And they stood up in their place and read from the book of the law of the lord their God for one-fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the Lord their God." (Nehemiah 9:1-3)

BOLDNESS

After being baptized with the Holy Spirit, many think they should respect the disrespect of those who go against our faith. They think that we should cower when confronted by their affronts. Because of this, they nourish their shyness as if it were the "god" of reverence. They become Christians that are cowardly, timid, shy, and helpless when faced with life's challenges. I ask those who were sealed with the Holy Spirit: Where is the power of the Holy Spirit?

14th APRIL 2013 - ASSISTANTS' GRADUATION DAY

14th APRIL 2013 - ASSISTANTS' GRADUATION DAY IN JAMAICA

Assistants of God,

On April 14th you will graduate and surely have great expectations for this day in your life as a servant of God.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)

RECIPE TO OVERCOME EVIL

Finally, after so many years serving God, we discovered the surefire recipe to overcome the devil! Would you like to know what it is? If yes, then let’s think about this together, because we are sure this will help you.

How can you be immune to a cold or flu, if you do not get vaccinated or eat foods high in vitamin C, and are always exposing yourself to the cold weather? It’s impossible!

Likewise, how can you be immune to Satan or get rid of him if you are not delivered from him, or get rid of what attracts him to you or keeps him inside you? This is where the plague called "PRIDE" presents itself.

Unfortunately - or with great difficulty - an envious person does not admit their feelings, let alone a proud person. When have you seen someone admit that they are arrogant, boastful or that they think they are better than everyone else, even if their life is a complete failure and they are still on a downhill spiral? They are just completely blind!

For example:

"But Naaman became furious and went away and said, ‘Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God and wave his hand over the place and heal the leprosy.’ Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?’ So he turned and went away in a rage," 2 Kings 5.11 -12

Surely, Naaman was part of this group of people who do not understand that in order to overcome the problem, they must first overcome themselves (PRIDE).

Notice how he wanted the VIP treatment, but he only overcame the leprosy after disposing of his arrogance and accepting to enter the waters of the Jordan.

The only ingredient in this recipe: "Get down from your pedestal and overcome your pride!"

May God bless you,

Assistants in Focus Series 7 – Non-believing Spouse

Many assistants have struggled to maintain a balance between marriage and the work of God.
I know that the greatest pleasure of a person who serves God is to be at church, but if you do not act with wisdom you will never be able to gain your non-believing spouse for Jesus.
If you find yourself in this situation you cannot go to the church every day and leave your husband alone at home.
Many have done this and have caused many problems in their marriage, always claiming that the spouse is not of faith and therefore does not understand him/her, in fact wanting to disrupt the spiritual life.
That may happen, but don’t you think as a man/woman of God, you should give a good testimony and show that you also care about him/her?

Assistants in Focus Series 6 - Good Manners

"And Sunday they arrive with a ugly face, we've had instances of members come to complain about the attention that the assistants give to the people.
Furthermore, posting some things on Facebook, like admiring the amazing ability to endure people who deserve a punch in the face."

We know that there are things that are expected of every human being, and that for this it is not necessary to be converted, or being born of God, such as respect and good manners, for example.
Now imagine what is expected of a person who claims to be filled with the Holy Spirit, at the very least much more of what we expect from people that have nothing of God.
If the assistants, who are the image of the church, are there to help the people, and are with an "ugly" face or closed up, being rude in their way of speaking, do you think that the afflicted will want to get close to her and ask for guidance? I think not, people will flee in seven directions, because a frowned face is scary, it does not invite anyone to come close, it alienates people. It's like if you had a label on your forehead saying "Do not come near me, the mood here isn't good."

Assistants in Focus Series 5- Abuse of Authority

Today I want to talk about those people who like to extrapolate, or rather step out of line.
When I think I've heard everything in this lifetime, I get this email:
"And another situation is the issue of a leader of the EBI, the way she treats the teachers, at times shouting, or in any adverse situation by saying that the other assistant has the "devil"."

Unfortunately we have people who are not well situated, they have no idea what the work of God is, much less know words such as: converting, fear, respect, good testimony, being born again, because if they had notion of these words they would quickly realize that they are not prepared to serve God.
Don’t you think it's a lack of respect to treat people with screaming, it isn’t something that just happened in a day of PMS (which also does not justify), or in a moment of anger, it is something constant.
To show authority you do not need to shout, an assistant who has any responsibility must give her best, without mistreating other people.
If the pastor who is the highest authority in the church doesn’t this, at least in the 17 years that I have serving God, I've never seen my husband scream at any assistant, or pastor.
