NATIONAL DAY AGAINST THE ADDICTION

“Sometimes I wish my son had died like Amy. At least his torment would be over: As Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband wakes from a coma after a near fatal drugs binge, his mother makes a heartbreaking admission”

Georgette Civil, 47, raced to his bedside to comfort her drug-addict son, who is better known to the world as the notorious ex- husband of the late singer Amy Winehouse.

‘Take me home, Mum, just take me home’, he pleaded — and Georgette promised him she would. She told him she would care for him and try to help him get better.

But can she? This is the question that has tormented Georgette during the sleepless nights when she has kept vigil at Blake’s hospital bedside in Dewsbury, Yorkshire…

The addiction problem can affect anyone, anytime, anywhere –rich or poor, black or white, famous or unknown.
Assistants let’s work hard to change the story of so many people on this country, in the NATIONAL DAY AGAINST THE ADDICTION ON 20TH Let’s bring as much as we can, people who like that mother wish their children died instead to be torment like that, fathers that lost the hope because they don’t see a way out for that situation. Perhaps it is happening with one of your relatives or even with your children, so let’s grab hold on this opportunity and make this day to be a mark for those who will come in our Help Center.
How many people will you bring with you in this special day to fight against addiction? Leave your comments below.

'A long awaited nad welcomed event'-Harvey

'I think as an assistant we should take more time to go out and search for people with addictions in order to help them. I for one am ready as I was an addict and now my daughter who is 17 is now facing the same problem'-Ulin Duncan.

'I have a son that is addicted to smoking, sometimes I can smell the scent of smoke on his body, I become revolted each time. We should make an effort to bring addicts on this special day as we continue to pray for them'.-Joan Green

'This purpose is a good start which can save many souls'.-Fay

'The National Day Againt Addictions is a good purpose because there so many people that their lives are being destroyed with many addictions and this day will save souls from being destroyed.'-Barbara

'No matter what the situation our children are going through as an assistant we should never wish death as a solution to that situation. We must fight for our family, never give up on them. So I think the 20th will bring more cry out and revolt for families that have members with adictions'.-Jennifer White

'I agree with this event 100%. Often times when I see someone who is addicted I become revolted. This is a terrible disease. This event will make a huge difference to many people that needs a solution to their problems'. Easton

'This mother will only be able to help her son if she has accepted Jesus in her life as all things are possible with God. No one should wish death for their loved ones. This special event against addictions will bring help for many and these people will welcome this help'.Diane

'When a person does not have Jesus they become desperate to solve their problems even to death. Persons who often times have addictions believe that there is no help for them, on this day they will see that there is help and that God can change their situation'.-Khadeen
