The strongest moment for me was when (we were told to write our sins or mistakes n a old clothe and take it) we went to the alter and did our own strong prayer and left the clothe on the alter an turning our backs to them and not looking back, representing us taking off the dirty clothes of sin things that separate us from God. It was very strong.
The meeting was very strong from beginning to end. The strongest moments for me however was the moment we cast away the defiled garments and were told to leave it on the altar, turn our back and walk away and don't look back, also the planting of the campaign envelope, I almost ran to be the first to get mine. The presence of God filled the place.

ReplyDeleteThis night vigil is such a reminder of how much God never gives up on us. It was a great renewal for me.
ReplyDeleteThe vow, the love, the surrender...the experience was simply amazing!
Its impossible to have remained the same after this vigil if indeed we went with an open heart.
