Now it came to pass the same night that the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside it;  and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.”  So Gideon took ten men from among his servants and did as the Lord had said to him. But because he feared his father’s household and the men of the city too much to do it by day, he did it by night.  (Judges 6:25-27)
Between Gideon and the altar of God, which by the way was destroyed, there was the altar of baal! The altar of God was totally destroyed because during seven years the people had stopped to challenge, for this reason they feared the Midianites! When there is no challenge, there is fear! But when there is challenge the victory is certain!
The altar of Baal was standing, which means that even when the times are so difficult Gideon's father sacrificed to Baal.

This Testimony shows that our God is Universal

Take Fear as a sign

TAKE FEAR AS A SIGN - By Bp Renato Cardoso

The world around us is set up in a way which inspires fear. “If you do this then that will happen.”

Fear, after all, is one of mankind’s greatest motivators.

The interesting thing is that God works

in the exact opposite way. In His word He tirelessly tells us, “Don’t fear.” He goes to the point of

saying that we shouldn't fear anything or anyone, only Him (not because He would harm us, but out

of respect and intelligence.)

But still, perhaps fear has controlled a great part of your life.

You don’t take risks as you should. You think much more about the worst case scenario than the

good that can be. You fear a bad future. You make prophesies of your own ruin. You spread fear

among your friends. You abort ideas before they’re conceived. You chose the little things because

you were afraid to have a lot. You live within your comfort zone. You don’t express yourself in

meetings. You accept a bad relationship because you’re afraid to be alone. You close yourself up,

you shrink, you hide…

Could all this be a sign that you’re far from God?

A warning for the assistants

A warning for the assistants

Many assistants do not know the reason why they are serving as an assistant, and do not understand what it is to have a ministry, they are laity in spiritual matters, some give bad testimony at home, at work, at school and many others are hostages of the uniform! Just it!
Hostages of the uniform.

If you take back their uniform, they leave the church. I personally know of several pastors who have confided to me that they know that these people can’t afford to be spiritual as assistants in God's house, but in order of not losing that soul, they (pastors) make this concession for love and prefer to leave them with the uniform.

Take a note of this: in the uniform, not as an assistant!

What does it mean?
