I’ve been receiving some emails from
assistants reporting some situations that are happening and are very
sad.
One was about the neglect of some assistants in relation to the care of
the church and even disinterest in spiritual service.
Read for yourself:
"I see a difficulty in assistants accepting and taking on
responsibilities, for example I am looking for a helper for social work
and with the exception of those already active in a group, the
assistants shirk ..."
"I am an educator of the EBI, and there has been a few unpleasant things
happening. The assistants do not help in the cleaning of the church;
they do not go out to evangelize. They do not do visual aids for the
kids..."
The assistants serve God out of love, Him and the souls, if she is
willing to serve and then does not want to cooperate with the work of
God, then she is being negligent.
They do not want to evangelize, help in maintaining cleanliness, not
giving their best in the EBI; then you are not being an assistant.

Assistants in Focus Series 3 - Jealousy
This is another problem that happens between those who serve God and has
weakened a lot the body of assistants.
Although everyone knows that jealousy is a work of the flesh, in
everyday life it seems to be something difficult to master.
Then confusion begins and the he said she said, "the pastor only relies
on her,” "she is the only one asked to do everything," "it seems like
there's no more assistants in the church, they only have eyes for the
same people”, and start having bad eyes and become sad.
As you can see, a problem pulls another, and what was only jealousy it
has now provoked bad eyes, sadness and therefore a dirty heart,
everything originating from an emotional heart.
Such feelings do not help the work of God, on the contrary, the devil
distracts you with that and keeps you from concentrating on doing your
job as an assistant, which is taking care of the people, praying for
them and mentoring.

Assistants in Focus Series 2 - Do, Do, Do
A
major concern of those who serve God, should not be doing a lot, even if we
have to, of course, but without ever neglecting the most important, our
communion with God.
What
good is it do many things in the church, to receive praise from the pastor, but
not have time for God, not taking a moment to pray, read the Bible, seek the
Holy Spirit, being in church does not mean being with God.
For this reason many servants are weak, weak in faith, they have worked hard and have not separated time to take care of their spiritual life.
The long and short of it, you do, do, do and never feel satisfied, because your inside is empty of God.

Assistants in Focus Series 1 - Spiritual State
Hello
friends, are you prepared? Then let us begin, at the end this article there is
a small task for you.
Today
we are going talk about the importance of the assistants being good with God,
with their spiritual lives in day.
If the person is not well, she cannot help others, if she is empty, weak in faith, or even in sin, how can she pray for the people in the church? It will be a prayer without fruit, it will be dangerous because do not forget that it's a fight face to face with the devil.

Unfortunately
many assistants are hiding behind their uniform, wanting to pass a spiritual
image that does not exist.
They are people who act in the church one way but at home are completely different, they are unrecognizable, giving bad testimony.
This demonstrates a lack of being born again, do not accept living a farce, be honest with yourself.

Some
points that can help you to reflect and see that you are not born of God:
- you have not changed your
character
- you are always in a bad mood
- you are angry and explosive
- you feel bad in the strong prayer,
as a matter of fact you flee from the services of liberation
- you are not able to abandon sin,
live in wrong
- you are a sad person, do not have
God's peace
- deep down inside you know
something is missing, something is not right
BAD BREATH
The Lord Jesus did not come for hypocrites. He came for people who are lost in sin and are crying out on the inside – people who want to serve God and cleanse themselves. Once they are cleansed, they will give good offerings. God wants to be worshipped by people that give fragrant offerings to Him.
Have you ever spoken to someone with bad breath? How did you react? I try to get away because the smell is so bad, as if something were rotting. I don’t tell the person, but I step backwards because I can’t stand the smell. I can’t stand people with bad breath or to have it myself.
The same goes for the offerings we present to God, because our lives are an offering. The Lord Jesus was an offering to God and we should follow His example and be offerings too.

The Power to Choose
I have the power to choose and as a result the consequences of my choices do not depend on others.
It’s unfair to make bad choices and then blame others for what happens.
God gave us the power to choose good or evil, to obey or disobey.
No one is perfect, but those who obey have perfection as their goal. God is looking for people like this to serve Him.
Integrity, righteousness, the fear of God and a spirit that flees from sin are all qualities of those who spread the fragrance of Jesus in this world.

WHAT ARE YOU TIRED OF?
In this world of evil, all of us are tired.
The
question is: What are you tired of ? Fighting? Suffering?
There’s a huge difference between these two people.
When those who are tired of suffering get attacked by fear, they may even have crawled into a cave at some point in their lives, but when they have had enough of suffering, they take a stand, face and overcome their fears in order to turn the tables on defeat and shame.
They do what Gideon did, who was called by God to change his life and the lives of the entire nation because of his attitude.

Challenge of Israel
Many assistants
are wondering what‘s the importance of
the Challenge of Israel, and if you
do not know, I'll post a short
explanation for you.
The aim of the Challenge
of Israel is awakening in people lives
that genuine Faith,
the faith of Abraham which exists
in all of us, but in many cases, is asleep. And
to clarify this, we
mention some biblical heroes, like Gideon, Moses, Elijah and many others, who offered challenges
to God, and have God's
promises fulfilled in their lives.
That's the secret: Challenging to Conquer.
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING AN ASSISTANT
When someone comes to the church for the first time, looking for help, most of these times this person comes to an assistant.
That’s why it’s important for the assistant to present him/herself always c
lean
and tidy, to be polite to talk to the one who is suffering and has just
arrived, to know how to speak according to the Biblical instructions,
never give their own opinion and not even try to solve the problem using
their own thoughts or ideas.
The assistant must always live what he/she preaches, should never stop believing in the scriptures and in the power God has to perform miracles.
Remember that the first impression is the one that will remain in point of view of that person.

“ Now it
came to pass the same night that the Lord said
to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and
tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside
it; and build an altar
to the Lord your God on
top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer
a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.” So Gideon took ten men from among his
servants and did as the Lord had
said to him. But because he feared his father’s household and the men of the
city too much to do it by day, he did it by night.” (Judges
6:25-27)
Between Gideon and the altar of
God, which by the way was destroyed, there was the altar of baal! The altar
of God was totally destroyed because during seven years the people had
stopped to challenge,
for this reason they feared the
Midianites!
When there is no
challenge, there is fear! But when there is challenge the
victory is certain!
The
altar of Baal
was standing, which
means that even when the times are
so difficult Gideon's father sacrificed
to Baal.

A warning for the assistants
A
warning for the assistants
Many assistants do not
know the reason why they are serving as an assistant, and do not
understand what it is to have a ministry, they are
laity in spiritual matters, some give bad testimony at home, at work, at school and many others are hostages
of the uniform! Just it!
Hostages of the uniform.
If you take back their uniform, they leave the
church. I
personally know of several pastors who have confided to me that they know that
these people can’t afford to be spiritual
as assistants in God's house, but in order of not losing that soul, they (pastors) make this concession for love and prefer to leave them with the
uniform.
Take a note of this: in the uniform, not as an assistant!
What does it mean?

The weight which is not Sin
“…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the
race that is set before us…” (Hebrews 12)
In the current legislation,
there are drugs that are legal, but are
harmful to the health, family and
society.
We
understand that: not everything that is allowed is healthy!
In the spiritual life, is the same: weight and sin are two different things. Weight is what is legitimate in itself, but is harmful to the spiritual health.

TRUST AND DO
“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the
land, and feed on His Faithfulness, (Psalms 37:3).
When we no longer look at the Author and Finisher of all
things, we lose sight of what is most important in life, which is Eternal Life
and a quality life here on earth that he offers us.
This is a natural consequences for those who refuse to
lose sight of what God wants for them. Every time we lose focus of our goal, it
is due to our lack of confidence in God.
Trust... do... dwell... feed on His faithfulness. Without
a doubt, who we “are” is more important than what we “do”, but when who we
“are” is accompanied by what we “do” it is a testimony to people of all levels
of society.
Abraham performed no miracle and is the father of faith,
because he obeyed the Word of God. This is what God expected of him. God
expects us to obey His Voice.

There are 9 days left till the special event of faith for the assistants.
Satan
knows that each one of us has the potential to influence others, and so he does
not hold back, but rather spends billions of dollars to convince people to give
up on the Living God, and to doubt that their suffering can be stopped.
When we turn into God’s firstborn
children, our power of influence increases greatly simply because we have the
Holy Spirit inside of us.
The goal of our special event,
Family Meeting for Assistants, is to benefit the Kingdom of God and the
families that will connect with Him and gain a new life—we are not doing it to
benefit the church or the pastors. Because of this, don’t hold back on your
efforts to influence your family and friends and bring them to this meeting on
September 30th, at any branch of the Universal Church in
the main service(s).
Talk
to your Pastor for more info or email us at assistantsjamaica@gmail.com
I'm living the difference
Assistants the difference must
happen between the righteous and the
wicked, between one who serves and who does not serve
God.
If you serve God, if your conscience is clear, if your faith is pure, then you can’t accept being equal or behave like
the wicked, have fruit equal to those who do not serve God, and has nothing with God, who has lived a perverted
life toward God.
“Then you shall again discern
between the righteous and the wicked,
between one who serves God
And one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:18
between the righteous and the wicked,
between one who serves God
And one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:18
